Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Jobdeck app and website, provided by Taylored Electrical Group Pty Ltd (ABN 49 689 808 633), New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Jobdeck, you agree to them.
Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the crew you invite. You must be authorised to run the business you set up in Jobdeck.
Using Jobdeck
Jobdeck is a tool to help you run your trade business — quotes, jobs, timesheets, invoices and records. You agree not to misuse it, break the law with it, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
You own your data. The jobs, quotes, invoices, photos and records you create are yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process them to provide the service.
Invoices, GST & your records
Jobdeck helps you produce quotes, tax invoices and reports, but you are responsible for the accuracy of your pricing, GST treatment, licensing, and your tax and compliance obligations. Jobdeck is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
Subscriptions, trial & payment
Jobdeck is offered on an auto-renewing subscription that starts with a free trial. The price (in Australian dollars, including GST where applicable) is shown in the app before you subscribe.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and are subject to Apple's terms. If you don't cancel before your free trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription. Your subscription then renews automatically for the same period each time unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage, cancel or turn off auto-renewal in your Apple account settings, not through us.
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Because billing is handled by Apple, refunds for App Store purchases are requested from and issued by Apple (via reportaproblem.apple.com) — we can't process App Store refunds directly. None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see below).
Availability
We work to keep Jobdeck running and your data safe. Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see below), the service is provided on an "as is" basis: we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may update or change features over time.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where permitted, our liability for a failure is limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of doing so.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in this section limits the rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which take priority over this section. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, revenue or business, arising from your use of Jobdeck; and
- our total liability to you for all claims connected with Jobdeck is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You're responsible for keeping your own copies of important data — you can export it at any time.
Ending your account
You can stop using Jobdeck and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
Third-party services
Jobdeck works with third-party services — including Apple (App Store and billing), and, if you connect them, Xero, MYOB and payment providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we'll let you know (for example in the app or by email), and continuing to use Jobdeck after the change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
